LAUGH & THE WORLD LAUGHS WITH U....

"Laugh and the world laughs with you...cry and you cry alone"....my dad's favourite quote...yah, guess if i lived each day in laughter, cleansed of yesterdays dust, then the rainbow will be back with a vengence...it will always be as magical as the first time i saw it... also to always remind myself to be as Happy as Muttley..laugh at everything that happens..always giggling at his master Dastardly..oh luv that snickering mutt to death!

Laughter breaks the icy cold winds around pple..laughter really may be the best medicine; whoa some even say a laff a day can boost immunity..hehee...
Spending the weekend at my maternal grandmas place..she is 82yrs old this year but still young at heart...she always make me laugh..would also wanna make her happy and cherish precious moments with her....time is not on her side...but i constantly pray for her to have long life...bought chinatown yuji mian for her and glad she enjoyed every bite of it...such is the simple joys in life...

I believe she has seen more in life then anyone else in the family had and she often tells me not to give up until the results are achieved...and to BE HAPPY!...and she also often talked about the pointlessness of of collecting too many unneccesary things cos we cannot bring everything along when we die....letting go seems easier with age...i often ask myself if I were to completely let go of everything i hv this moment, would it even be possible? i guess when i let go, my heart & mind will become lighter and easier to deal with worldly matters & spiritual pursuits...

"It takes spiritual effort to laugh the trivial things in life away. Life is a joke, but a serious joke! A difficult joke that has to be "caught" to be felt funny. Sometimes, the lessons learnt send us rip-tickling... But one day, with enough effort, we shall all smile gently like the Buddha."..the wake up call often comes in the form of the cruelest of jokes...but who gets the last laugh...?

peace begins with a smile, a tickle and a laugh?
